Been a couple months

As I sit here in the Learning Commons (fancy name for a Library) I am filled with... wait thats not inspiration and education, thats some unknown jazz band. The celebration of my school turning 40 has started, with all its microphones and projection TVs.
Anyhow, what is up with me? WELL
School is coming to a close shortly. I had three midterm/finals this week, a couple more in a couple weeks, then I am free!! Well, free to work full time until Gimli starts up in the middle of June.
Ryan is probably coming for the first three weeks to tow and teach at the workup. I will (hopefully) be an instructor again, and with any luck will be joined by Nat and Judy. Amazing how you can not talk to people for 8 months and then it's like you never left when we all show up on the 18th of June for 9 weeks of GONG.
What else. groundschool for the spring gliding season at Netook is tomorrow... we'll see if I remember anything...
The field is still too wet to actually get a whole day of flying in, but it will get there and then we will get back into the groovce of sleeping more during the week than the weekends again. It won't be the same without Kyle R, but I guess we'll manage.
My parents have moved... so weird...
I lived in that house since I was 12... I remember because my parents moved in the first weekend I was at a campout with 878 sqn. I left for my first weekend away and came home living in a new house. They are now living far far away (near Edmonton) and are renting out a house that I can borrow the basement of occasionally in Canmore. It's like our own private mountain chalet.
This means a few things.
1) my edmonton comrades may be seing me more. when I come out to the city there will be no excuses to ditch!
2) I may see the edmonton gliding centre... first Comox, now Edmonton, I will be famous! (Well, maybe infamous) With permission I am sure I could swing one weekend up there!
3) Canmore will be less fun. Gotta admit, it won't be the same without mom and dad.
SO THERE IT IS. Thats about it for me.
Oh, and on a cool note, (well, cool in a kinda sad way) Palyga is going to school next year so he is leaving the house. He's off to track down post secondary education, and can do that cheaper crashing with family. This means a new roomate for me, my good friend Kyla's little bro Gavin! As of June or July (I should phone him and let him know eh...) Gavin has a room at chez moi! It will be nice to have another school kid to live with, and I'm sure the XBOX will get a workout!
